Disintegration in ex-Yugoslavia not over - Dodik
15.06.2006, 07.11 <http://www.itar-tass.com/eng/images/spacer.gif> <http://www.itar-tass.com/eng/images/spacer.gif> MOSCOW, June 15 (Itar-Tass) - In an interview published in the Thursday edition of the Russian newspaper Novyye (new) Izvestia, Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska (part of Bosnia-Hercegovina), said the current situation in the Balkans, "I mean Montenegro and Kosovo, indicates that disintegration on the territory of the former Yugoslavia is not over yet". Dodik said, "Politicians in our area must make maximum efforts to secure that internal confrontation in our countries disappears. Only in that case, we shall be able to forget about a further break-up of Balkan states". The RS Prime Minister attended the economic forum in St Petersburg. He said conditions in Republika Srpska are quite attractive for foreign investors. "We can only welcome Russian investments. This particularly applies to the banking sector, in which all the major banks of Europe are represented.
