Only when I select a packages will the packages not pushed by the server.
Only when I run rhn_check at the client, will the packages pushed.
I check the logs but I can see nothing wrongs?

and your client can telnet to 5222 on the server right?

Got it fixed. This can be ignored now :)
I went back and redid the kickstarts from scratch and they're
working well now.
