Hi,
We have just installed spacewalk 1.3 on Centos 5.5. The system so far
seems to be working fine however on the monitoring side we have a little
confusion. We are able to push the probes on to the desired clients and
can monitor them, but the

I'm affraid, there is no permanent solution.
I recommend you to use your preferred text editor to edit such forms. See:
https://addons.mozilla.org/cs/firefox/addon/its-all-text/
There is probably a case to push for a larger default editor window size as

In preparation for using CentOS 6 with spacewalk, I've been testing
internally with a RedHat subscription. When trying to install osad, I am
missing a dependency on jabberpy-0.5. I'm using the Redhat base and Redhat
supplementary subscriptions.
I have noticed that in the RHN tools subscription, ja
Nevermind... I didn't finish syncing over epel 6 due to the file descriptor
leak before. jabberpy is there..
Sorry about that,

In my experience, this is not the case. The activation key has no effect
on the kickstart process until the post script section where the client
is registered to Spacewalk. Only at that point does the client acquires
access to the child channels defined in the activation key. If you put

Thank you SO much for finding this and posting it. I was able to get one of my
clients re-registered and it is accepting tasks. I seem to be having some kind
of troubles now with packages not installing, but I'll deal with that
separately. I'm going to get all of my clients re-registered firs

Hi All,
Could someone verify something in Spacewalk 1.2/1.3 please?
Assuming you have:
- an activation key A which has a base channel C and child channels C1, C2,
... associated
- a kickstart profile K which:
- has activation key A associated with it
- *does not* have any child channels
Good morning everyone
Is there a way I can change the config editor window size. I want to
make it bigger so less of the long config lines wrap around.
