Yes, I followed this. I am not even getting to the registration part yet.
When the anaconda installer starts up it complains prior to even installing
the operating system. The two errors are what I outlined below. Missing
repomd.xml and then after that the unable to read group information.

If you want to kickstart from Spacewalk, I highly recommend reading
through https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/HowToKickstartCobbler.
The examples are from Fedora 9, so it requires a little adaptation, but
not much. I'm afraid it's a bit more complicated than just creating a

Hi:
Is it possible, with the RedHat 6 installation media, to create a channel
within Spacewalk that you can use to kickstart a RH6 system?
What I have tried is to create the channel and then do a RHNpush of all the
RPM from that CD. However when I tried to kickstart using that channel,

Strange problem just started. Seems up2date is having problems resolving
dependencies for some rpms. Below is a traceback when trying to install emacs.

I'm not getting the results I need/want. Is there more extensive

Hi,
we just set up a spacewalk server and got our first client kickstarted.
The client cannot access any channel on the spacewalk server.
'yum update' returns 'Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata
(repomd.xml) for repository: sl-x86_64-6. Please verfiy its path and try
again'.
It does work
All I have had to do is make sure the child channels for the epel and
spacewalk client are included in the profile. From there it has registered
the host when kickstarted. I think there is a cheetah snippet that makes it
happen.

Hello list
I am trying to create a config file that is over 512kb in size. How do I
increase the config file size. I am getting this when I try to create it:
Error creating Configuration File Revision: File too large. The maximum file
size is 512 KB
How and where do I increase this size? I hav
