Hi all
Was having a look at my (fat RHEL 6.1) RHEV hypervisors. I updated
rhn-virtualization* to 5.4.30-1.el6.noarch (out of nightly)
When running 'python /usr/share/rhn/virtualization/poller.py' I get a
number of tracebacks. I hacked on /usr/share/vdsm/config.py a bit and
now it runs and the c
I believe I have partial package records in the database that are keeping
me from adding packages. I believe this is a result of a failed rhn-push.
When running spacewalk-repo-sync I received

Spacewalk will need to parse all of the files as it stores all of the package
metadata in its database; it can't just reference an external repo, it has to
process it.
If it's disk space you're worried about, put your mirror on the same filesystem
(e.g., /var/satellite) and hardlink the files w

This will create copies of the packages. Hard drive space is cheap so I
wouldn't go any further. I'm pretty new so I am sure there is some tricks
I'm not aware of. Maybe after a sync you could write a script to delete
Hi,
We currently have a few repo's setup for CentOS and RHEL servers. I have

I see a similar issue, though in the end my RHEL 4 clients receive a 500 Bad

to the current version) on CentOS 6.

Hey Andy,
I also have v1.5 (I think we both upgraded from earlier versions) and do not
see this issue.
What are your database details and what release of rhel4 is your client?
What does a manual rhn_check come back with?

Hi Folks,
Lately I've been experiencing a problem with my RHEL 4 systems with regards to
rhnsd/rhn_check against my SPWK 1.5 system. I have rhnsd scheduled to check in
every 15 minutes to look for tasks... and when it does, the rhn_check command
just hangs... forever.
Has anyone else experien

Hi all,
I tried to setup spacewalk. I am a total newbie as far as Spacewalk and RHN
are concerned.
Currently, all that I have been able to do is : Register 2 systems and
install packages in these two systems using yum.
What I want to do is : Reboot and Add/Delete files in these two registered
