The server itself is a rhel5-based OS but is currently limited to only up2date.
I am going to remove the rhlib versions and try again.

versions of rhnlib installed, regardless of what rpm tells you. The
files overwrite each other. So if you have packages installed that
conflict with the new version and other packages that require the new

I am currently running Spacewalk 1.9 on Fedora 18. For the past 2 weeks
(approximately) I have been watching yum update fail on Spacewalk deps (see
http://pastebin.com/FXvjBwxt ). I tried individually updating the spacewalk
1.9 packages hoping that a spacewalk update would resolve the dep issu
I'll test it as soon as I get to the office and report back!.
