Yes, this
rm -rf /var/lib/jabberd/db/* && /etc/init.d/jabberd restart
really helps but on non-empty directory. :)

Did you enable the logging of your ks? Did you link the gpg keys of your
child channel to your ks profile? It will not install packages if you

Right, check the permissions.
One thing to mention, I always comment out the lines containing *roster*
modules in /etc/jabberd/sm.xml.

diff --git a/jabberd/sm.xml b/jab
No firewall or selinux currently running.
All directories in /var/lib/jabberd have proper ownership and permissions. But
as I mentioned before, the db directory is completely empty. Is there
something I can do to reinstall/reinitialize just the jabberd component?

I just upgraded my Spacewalk from 1.8 to 1.9 and then 2.0. In both the 1.9 and
2.0 updates, starting the spacewalk-server just hangs on osa-dispatcher (actual
server name masked):
Starting spacewalk services...

Hi,
I need to create several kickstart profiles which is just changing
slightly, say partition sizes and softwares to be installed.
I'd like to know how to accomplish this without creating multiple profiles.
Say with just single profile and passing some parameters to customize

Hi Lupin.
During install I get the same error, packages does not exist, I includes as
you suggested those packages in the package profile and also under
operating system, checked the spacewalk-repository and epe-l as well.
Any way, in the profile package section it read:

1) run/script on rhel client: /usr/bin/reposync -n --gpgcheck -l

I would use my spacewalk machine to be the repository where my RHEL client get
updates.
Of course I have a regular RHEL subscription for my clients.
I really didn't catch how I could do this.
Any help will be appreciate
Thank You

Ah I just had the same with a colleague of mine
who wanted to play with spacewalk:
Thats due to
a) SELinux issues (you can check in /var/log/audit/audit.log that stuff
from spacewalk and cobbler are blocked)
=> either add exceptions or disable SELinux
and (maybe)
b) that cobbler does like to have

Dear "spacewalkers",
I dare to send you this e-mail because I'm almost desperate about the Cobbler
and Kickstart failures.
According to the manual, I have installed Spacewalk 2.0 on a fresh installation
of Centos 6.4.
Everything seems to work fine, except Cobbler sync and Kickstart sync. When I
