Hello Friends
Really strange, because if you looking for the word scap in the packages
page, you will find 5, as bellow:

php-ZendFramework2-Escaper-2.2.8-2.el6.noarch.rpm

Hello,
I'm running spacewalk on centos 6.6 successfully.
I'm now trying to enable Web-User Authentification with LDAP-Service, but
without any success, I'm getting the catalina-error PAM login for user User
failed with error Authentication failure.
What I did:

Dear spacewalkers
In the last time (after the issue from nss-softokn updates?
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1182337 /
https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=214791f=13#p214791 ) we keep
having issues with spacewalk-nodes being kickstarted and then updated via
spacewalk.
Rolf, good morning
If you kickstart a new machine (same as you told) and execute yum update
manually, works fine ?!
Take Care

OK – perhaps we’re looking at the wrong server in this equation.
Verify what the DNS “on the spacewalk server” thinks server “whatever” is.
If you’re reusing IPs you could simply have old data on the spacewalk box,
not the node.

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I’m trying to setup kickstart for SLES in
an ESX environment, and I’m seeing the same error Base Channel*:

I am running/exploring 2.2 version and wonder if there is such an option
as channels priorities or what might be best method to deal with yum
priorities options? I currently have own repo with priority set so few
custom built packages are maintained and not updated. I suppose I can leave

The bad hostname at some point was in the hosts file but under 127.0.1.1.
Even after cleaning up the hosts and rebooted the server. Still same thing.
I got tired of running around and went into the database and did the rename in
the table rhnservernetwork:
update rhnservernetwork set hostname
You can just click on the server in the Spacewalk GUI, then the properties
tab. Here you can update the System Name here rather than having to change
tables in the database manually.

Marcin,
I also wish spacewalk had a channel priority feature similar to the yum
priorities plugin.
You have two options.
1) Keep your custom packages at higher version as the ones in the other
channels. This works, but you'll be chasing the other channels as they update.
2) Filter the
Take a look in /etc/sysconfig/network file and see if the name is defined
there or not.

Hi everybody, this is my first post. I have a new Spacewalk 2.2 server up
and running, but systems are not picking up tasks. Upon further
investigation, I have found that the /var/log/rhn/osa-dispatcher.log on my
spacewalk server says what is pasted below. It states there is a SSL error.
I can not
Check /etc/rhn/rhn.conf and make sure the below 2 variables match the
hostname of your Spacewalk server
server.jabber_server = yourspacewalk.server.com
osa-dispatcher.jabber_server = yourspacewalk.server.com
Also, verify that the hostname listed in your SSL certificate matches the

Hi Waldirio
Yes, it is. When using local ‚yum update‘ we haven’t seen this issue so far.
Thank you very much for your Help!

Ah, It's working now.
The /etc/pam_ldap.conf was wrong.
Instead of using authconfig-tui, you have to edit this file manually.
