What we do is we just go to Vcenter and do it manually to take snap shot of the
VM before we patch it.
But VMware(Vcenter) has command line to do multiple VMs with PowerCLI

Hi I have setup spacewalk 2.7/2.8 on Cenots 7 , and configured suse sles
12 sp1 channels and add several repositories,
