HTH,
That sounds better than my solution by far. Well, same solution but more
streamlined. So you do a reposync using a script, then use rhnpush to push to
satellite? Is that right?

I have been able to do this by building a rhel 6 server and creating a local
repo mirror. I then created a rhel 7 and installed spacewalk. That way i have
the entitlements for rhel 6 and 7 covered. From there, I set up the channels
and pointed the rhel 7 to the redhat network, and the rhel 6
Spacewalk informed me I have packages available for update.

The GUI said the patches were applied
Went to CLI on Spacewalk server, spacecmd, schedule_list,
schedule_detailseverything says its completed.
Go to server(s) that patches were "applied", and no patches have been
?I did this as well, but was unable to have Rhel 6 and 7 on same server so I
built a local yum repo for rhel 6 and pointed spacewalk to that with the same
approach and just pointed to url://https://fqdn of server/rhel6/rhel6_repo

Hi
I
I set off pulling repo from redhat (yes i have subscription). Was having too
many issues with certs, so I set it up to pull from a local mirror I have
built. I cannot get past cert issues and not sure how to even track these down
or where they are looking for them at.
This is the error I am

Sorry Irwin, In my case its the issue with one of mine local repos which have
yum priories enabled so we can use custom build rpm over spacewalk channels.
Its desired setup for us.
I would try to schedule task in web GUI and run on client
When I try to update packages, they continue to fail. I search the packages
(picked a few random to verify) and the packages are in the repos so I don't
understand reason for failure.
