We’ve run Spacewalk on a VMWare host for 3 years with no issues (v1.9 and now
v2.4 - 16Gb RAM – 4 cores – 350Gb /var filesystem) – manages about 250 servers

I’ve seen exactly this issue when I try to sync the CentOS7 channel – not sure
what the solution is as yet though.
