Building
new RPMs and updating my Satellite 5.4 Installation the /etc/motd Problem is
solved. After
applying the Patch you have to update once your kickstartfiles in the
Satellite/Spacewalk,

i have downloaded the complete Spacewalk Sourcecode, and here ist he needed
Patch for removing
the /etc/motd Stuff from the Code. The Patch is against the
KickstartFormatter.java in src/com/redhat/rhn/manager/kickstart

Wow - this is still working. So the Anaconda isn't reading the file

You do the "sed" Stuff in the PRE Script section, right ?
But, i think it is the wrong way, that half the world is patching
