If have done again yum update from my test spacewalk 0.5 and after
that a get this message at rhn-satellite start.
Spacewalk 0.5 is running on x68_64 centos 5.3. After startup it's
possible to login to spacewalk.
[r...@spacewalk ~]# /usr/sbin/rhn-satellite start
Starting rhn-satellite.
Are you have used rhn-profile-sync on client.
If i use rhn-profile-sync, my packet state gets refreshed on spacewalk.

I have stopped spacewalk and removed everthing from /var/cache/rhn.
After restart from spacewalk 0.5 there is no rebuild of the cache.
From the cent5 clients i get by yum check-update:

Just restarting spacewalk will not rebuild the cache. The cache
regenration should have started when you're centos client checked
in.

This way is maybe simpler special for later update/upgrade task on the

There are to many very nice repo tools.
For manage os content the best way is one way for all the different
software framworks.
Currently for http://www.ovirt.org/ and other projects there is
cobbler the solution.
For pulp there is a own repo tool with very nice ide
I have cleanup my spacewalk with spacewalk-setup --disconnected and
"clear the database".
This success and login well, the only problem i found, there is no
link in channel menu for "create new channel".

My fault. This i have from missing "role" to the working user account
on spacewalk.

- You should be able to login with this user and password on the
spacewalk UI.
- You can use "-v" option for rhnpush to sea more...
- Maybe use real hostname.domainname and not localhost
