** Total success **
Thank you... I had neglected to configure EPEL repository on my (new)
Spacewalk server, but I have EPEL on my existing RHN Satellite servers.
Since repositories (like EPEL

I noticed one other oddity (that might be a smoking gun) while fishing
back through my saved logs during my install of "rhn-setup":
[root@xyz]# yum install rhn-setup

BTW:
The following is in /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date, so I'm not sure why it
isn't writing to /var/log/up2date.

I've finally been able to revisit this issue; still having original problem.
Spacewalk V2.0 on Centos V6.4 64-bit server, attempting to

Darn... hit [SEND] too soon!
My software channel and activation key was all 64-bit packages, so I'll
revamp that to be all 32-bit, do some housecleaning and try to register
the client again.

Egg on my face!
I *thought* the Spacewalk client was 64-bit, but it turns out it is 32-bit!
Someone else built the clients, and I thought they built them as 64-bit
since the hardware is 64-bit. Bad assumption!
So... I guess it's back to square one.
Thanks!

Afaik, there is no hardware_hal package. There is a hal
package, though, and I believe it's installed by default,
though the OP might wan to check. Then, of course, it's
worth making sure that python is installed.

Spacewalk V2.0 on Centos6.4
Trying to register a Centos6.4 client to the Spacewalk server; the command
rhnreg_ks does not work.
A suggestion that I read somewhere that the package "pygobject2" might be
missing, but it is not.
On the client:
