Hello, i was an happy user of Spamassassin untill some days ago spamassassin started to eat all my memory opening the bayes database. I was using spamassassin 2.55 with procmail calling it directly with the -P switch, not using spamd and spamc.
My database is about 40 Mb and i have 256 Mb of ram and i have tryed to add up to 320 Mb of swap without fitt spamassassin requests. I have also tryed to upgrade to sa 2.62 and convert the old db format to the new one but sa fill all my memory, and conseguently is killed by oom killer on the pass two of the proces. I have tryed to dump and reload database with db_dump and db_load to see if the database was corrupted but that didn't helped. I hope that this is not the aspected beviathur of spamassassin. Someone can help me ? There is a way to recover my database ? If is requested i can make my database freely downloadable on the net. Additionally, i now have stardet to use sa with a fresh new format database. If i recover my old one there is a way to merge them ? Thank for the help.
