I'm attempting to get spamassassin running on our primary mail server for
our company and am not having much luck.
The system is:
FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE
Sendmail 8.12.2

spamass-milter 0.1.1
I've installed spamass-milter and have spamd running, things will work
for about 5 to 10

use /etc/mail to localize their mail files. If you delete that then you

My personal favorite is to add a "hostname" such as
[EMAIL PROTECTED] then in sendmail just map that host so it
dumps anything to it to my "addtoblacklist" perl script that adds it to my
sendmail "access" database.

The last I heard on this was that the recommendation was to add "; NO UCE"
to the end of your SMTP banner. At one point at least one spamware honored
