Hi,

I'm setting up a sitewide bayes db, and while I realize this isn't
optimal, I think it's the easiest compromise in my situation. Now if I
do something like

  sa-learn --ham --mbox some_file

under my account, it writes to the bayes db in my ~/.spamassassin
directory. How can I get it to write to the shared directory instead?
I've tried calling sa-learn with -C or -p, to no avail. I have these
lines in the sitewide local.cf file

bayes_path /home/s/sp/spamd/bayes
bayes_file_mode 0666

and the documentation seems to imply that by default, all users should
pick up these settings. Any help would be appreciated.

And one more question: is there a way to get spamd to read the
user_prefs file in user spamd's home directory? I know the spamd README
says this isn't done for security reasons, but are there any other
simple ways to get spamd to read a custom configuration file?

Thanks,
Jeremy
