A question about HTML spam..
Is there in SA a rule that checks for HTML tags
that does not exist and if the number of nonexistent
HTML tags is high assigns a high score?
Even then if there is unknown tags in a mail one can say that
we should not see more than 1-2 new unknown tags.

As of 12:40 this afternoon our mail server stopped accepting mail from our
main web server because it was listed on osirusoft. How I don't know
since
it doesn't run an SMTP server -- it's protected
this sender ()...

until they have been learned.. It seems that they need
some 200 hams and 200 spams before they have info enough
for making some decisions regarding spam probability..
There might be other ways but none that i have found..

I have seen the same stuff..
Almost all of the bounces are coming fron ISP's
that never would allow SPAM..

I know this isn't a new thing necessarily in the internet world, but its
new for me. Lately in the past week I've gotten 3 or 4 bounces that came
from spammers. Apparently
something to do with SOBIG.e?
In some cases there seems to be a attachement. In other cases
there is viagra ads within..

Are you using spammassassin or spamd/spamc..
If using spamd/spamc dont forget to restart spamd..
( I keep forgetting it myself all the time..;-)

i try now for a long time to switch off the auto learn / whitelist
funktion.
but not settings works well.
