Hi,

The tech support team who look ofter my dedicated machine have just installed SpamAssassin and Clam AV, which seems to be working extremely well. There's just one thing that has me a bit stumped...

According to the SpamAssassin docs any mail tagged as spam should have the subject rewritten to include *****SPAM*****. This is the default setting. However in all the spam I receive the subject remains unchanged.

I've referred to the docs numerous times and tried to find where to change the setting that does this. I've even used grep to try and find the string "subject_rewrite 0" which is apparently what switches off this behaviour.

Does anyone have experience of SpamAssassin & Clam AV on FreeBSD? Any idea what I need to change (and where to find it) in order for the subjects to be rewritten?

Many thanks.
