RE: update on only/or later etc.

There are so many things I admire about the people involved and the process that has been followed to get to this proposal for consensus. Many thanks for all Jilayne and Kate and so many others have done to bring SPDX to a point that exceeds all of our expectations.

Thanks to both Richard and Kyle for very helpful posts. Ditto on Kyle's recognition of the amazing work of so many people on this project. I confess that I am still thrilled to see any embrace of the SPDX license expressions by developers. I have said many times over the course of many years

New License/Exception Request: Linux-Note

Dear SPDX-legal list, Could you please consider adding an exception to the set of recognized license exceptions for the text at the start of the Linux kernel COPYING file. Two of the senior kernel maintainers, Thomas Gleixer and Greg Kroah-Hartman brought the issue to our attention.
