We have never agreed to limit our work to any organization's particular
definition of "open source". We agreed from the beginning of SPDX that our
goal was to facilitate exchange of license information about software
packages with a focus on open source, not a limitation to any definition of
open
I strongly recommend that we keep LGPL-3.0 in the License List as a License. I
understand the Exceptions consistency argument, but this is effectively a major
license on its own. No one will be confused by referring to it as LGPL 3.0 and
many will be confused by reformulating it as a License
