It is out of topic here but you should edit your /etc/resolv.conf and fill it this way : (IF the ip address of the DNS of your ISP is xxx.yyy.zzz ,) nameserver xxx.yyy.zzz that's all . then restart your browser and enjoy. >modem_run etc initialises my speedtouch usb and blinks correctly in seq

I've upgraded from Mandrake 8.0 to Mandrake 8.2, and wouldn't you know it, my Speedtouch is broken again. This time it's a completely different problem from the last two times... The errors say: pppd[4051]: Couldn't get channel number: Input/output error pppd[4051]: ioctl(PPPIOCSASYNCMAP): Inn
