Ok. Just rebuild from CVS and catted KQD6P1.eni and KQD6P2.eni together.
Things seem to work well on my 330 rev.2:

I have my speedtouch 330 DSL modem working fine in linux.
I use the kernel drivers with kernel 2.6
When modem_run is run with :-
modem_run -k -f firmware.bin
It loads the firmware into the speedtouch, and then forks a new process
that checks for up/down link status and updates the kernel driver
in the var/log/messages it shows this mex.
