I am now connected under Linux using Tony's edited code. The only thing I have noticed is that the connection seemed to slow right down after about 10 minutes and I had to restart pppd. Find attached some output I got from usbdevfs and also my routing table after connecting, as requested -

OK people. I got everything going again and connected OK. I managed to request a webpage (www.yahoo.co.uk) And it did retrieve it...eventually. It was incredibly slow and kept stalling, but it did get there in the end... I will try Tony's new code and try again Just thought I'd let you all k

I managed to get a connection first time out of this (I think). Maybe you can all help me figure this out. unfortunatly, I'm not the linux master I wish I was :P I am running Mandrake 7.2 w/ 2.4.2 I left pppd as it was as was suggested below and compiled the modules suggest into the kernel. O
