I am using Redhat 7.2 with the default 2.4.7-10 kernel. I am also using the speedtouch / USB hotplug combination. When the link fails, it can never reconnect. The only way I can get back online is to reboot the machine. In what way does the link fail? Duncan. PS: I noticed that in some

Hi Duncan First of all, apologies to all list members, I know this is technically off-topic! In what way does the link fail? It's difficult to tell really, it does just seem to stop handling data! I can't see any sign of the ppp connection being dropped, but network activity (eg PINGs)
