Mmm, your using the kernel-mode drivers? wrong list I'm afraid. The user-
mode drivers use a plain old vanila pppd with an external program to to the
AAL5 encapsulation.

It's difficult to tell really, it does just seem to stop handling data! I
can't see any sign of the ppp connection being dropped, but network activity
(eg PINGs)
