My normal html builds go just fine, but the html help build fails like this:

Maybe I'm missing something simple, but is there a way for me to
specify the superclass or superclasses or a class when I'm documenting
it with the class directive?

Unfortunately I'm not sure how to solve your problem. Could you maybe
use CSS with display: none ? (I haven't looked at your sites HTML and
code to verify that it's possible in your case).
