The most straightforward thing to assume was that the BIOS was stupid (which
is, to be fair, my default assumption) and s
s unable to hyphenate it by
itself (no idea how to do that in Sphinx, though, but I'm sure the
excellent docs cover it).
Or you can look at the PDF, decide it is fine, and ignore the warning.

There is an almost obvious extension of interfaces that would allow formal

-like-this is desirable for a script, I'd be inclined to keep
it short, e.g.:
#!/usr/bin/python
import mypackage.scripts.namelikethis
namelikethis.main()
and move the bulk of the code into an importable module.
Another advantage of this is that you can then use setuptools entry
point
