Re: [Spice-devel] Fwd: Re: Spice agenti service on windows 7

2013-05-16 Thread Ignazio Cassano
Hi Arnon, you sent me a patch for windows 7 64 bit guest.
You told that's the new version of windows guest agent and it will be released
soon.
I checked the spice.-space site, but there is not a new version yet.
Please, is there the same patch for windows XP and windows 7 32 bit ?

If yes, could you send it to ignaziocass...@gmail.com ?

Ignazio

It's still planned, but I suspect there will be issues with the qxl driver.
vdagent-win also needs a spice-protocol update which I've sent for review,
I guess I'll just push, release and build at least that one.

Because of Microsoft's refusal to certify GPL drivers we have dual licensing

The proprietary licensed drivers are signed with Red Hat's certificate but also

[Spice-devel] [PATCH spice-gtk] widget: remove grab key filter

combinations such as shift+f12.

If grab sequence is matched, still send modifier keys

If the last key pressed from the grab sequence is a modifier
key, let send it to the guest too.

This solves the issue of default grab-sequence being ctrl+alt

Won't this cause a regression?

Thanks for checking history, but no, this patch actually removes the filter

[Spice-devel] questions about socket in spice

2013-05-16 Thread bigclouds
hi, i set kepalive on server side, then unplug cable, then wait for a while.
why other channels is disconnected other than 38102(i think it is main
channel),
but after re-plug cable , client can not connect server for ever.
how to solve this: 1. disconect the only remain one . 2 let client connect
all other channels?
how to do?

[Spice-devel] socket communication question about differing client and device function

2013-05-16 Thread bigclouds
hi,
now i do not know which callback function is for client, and which is for
device.
and how device driver communicate with spice server socket(where the code is,
device side).

i understand it in this way:
main thread only accept client connect, then redirect command to worker
thread(only one workthread for a client)
red_worker_main , do channels should do(everything related to channels )

thanks sooo much.___

[Spice-devel] how can i re-connect server when one channel is dsconnected by server.

2013-05-16 Thread bigclouds
hi,
throught test, i find if channels disconnected by server, client will never
reconnect it again.

server and client only make only one connect for each channel when launch
remote-viewer.
where and how should i add code to check channels status and reconnect only if
channel disconnected?
please give me a direction(better where the source file and its function are
which i need to modify)

thanks so much.
