All, After much fiddling (and a bit of luck) I finally found I had a (not quite) dead fuel pump. Extremely frustrating . It would work fine for a couple days, then die. Work a couple days & die. Ad infinitum. Finally with my wife's help I found there was no fuel being delivered to the carb. G

My Spit was running very hot last year. Had my original rad recored. The new core is more efficient as it is made the same way modern rads are. That did fix the problem for a while. This past few weeks, the Spit started running hot again. Turned out that the rad cap needed to be replaced, it

Hey listers, got a problem. I've got a very low profile (1.75") Permacool fan that I'd like to mount as a puller on my 16" width Mk3 radiator. Only trouble is, it will not clear the water pump pulley. Has anyone successfully mounted an electric fan as a puller on a 16" radiator? If so, please
