You may be thinking of a different type switch. This one is a rocker switch. I can
get it to move up and down a bit but not out. I was thinking there must be some
plastic tabs that expand when you push it into the hole, but I can't see them. I will
give it another try with better li

What is the name of the rocker arm rebuilding service that has been
mentioned in the past - I did a search but couldn't find any web site for
one except Rocker Arm Rebuilders in Anderson CA - this doesn't sound like

IIRC (and I might be wrong), you first need to remove the red knob, which
simply unscrews. There is a metal tab sticking out of the housing of the
switch, which is held onto the back of dash by a single screw. Remove this
screw, and the switch can be pulled out of the rear of the dashboard
