5) Check the float valves... sounds like your running rich somewhere...
I've replaced the float valves and have a pressure regulator in-line between
the pump and carbs. The regulator is set at about 2.5psi (I think).
Not sure about this one.

Had my Spit ('78) out the other day and it seemed to run very hot, so I've
been toying with the idea of a brand new radiator. Can anyone recommend
something that might provide better/more efficient cooling than that stock
radiator?? Preferrably a direct bolt-in replacement I'm not real k
r well? This question relates specifically to the 1500
engine w/ HS'4s (Paul T. - care to jump in here? I have the exact same
carb/manifold set-up as you do.).

spring and then counted his coil(s) from where the coils begin to seperate.

currently have ABT, but also have suggestions for other to try. I need to
call Joe Curto about needle valves in the float bowls anyway, so I'll
probably order a couple of sets to try out.
Anyhow, that's where I am now. Any
ngs (150 vice 180 lb.??) or
springs from some other Triumph that would do the trick. Who knows the
answer to that one?
