replacement for the late model, low performance stock cams. Been running
one for several years, recommended.

Is it even necessary to remove and filter silicon brake fluid ? The main
reason to replace DOT 3,4 is because it's hydroscopic and causes rust.
When you filtered the silicon fluid, did you see any 'dirt' ?

The window needs to be installed first and then the weatherstrip and waist
seal. However, an alternate method of attachment is to use silicon adhesive
for both rather than the metal clips. And the paint does not get scratched.

If you pull off the valve cover, you can measure the height of the
ed shorter
pushrods.
It is a 1500 block and head. In fact Joe, I think it's the block I bought
from you. Maybe I can figure a way to measure the head while on the engine,
any ideas ?

Arte you sure about that number? .25 is a quarter of an inch. That seems
to be a bit extreme for
A machine shop removed about 0.25" on mine, yielded about 9.6:1 with flat
top pistons.. So, probably around 0.2".
I did not replace the pushrods, but it's something easily checked when
assembling the engine.

Any sources (in addition to VB) for the push - pull electrical connectors
used throughout the Spitfire ? I have had problems with the ones from VB.
Also, has anyone redone the harness to replace the push - pull connectors
entirely ? If so, what type of connector did you use ?
