I am about to have my Spitfire motor rebuilt and I have a few questions that
may be nitpicky or not, but have me nervous.
I have read, several times and places, that, if you install a new cam, the
motor has to start right away or the new cam will not break in right.
When I get the motor rebuilt, I will be adding dual webers, and a dual point
Mallory distributor.
Should I put the webers and Mallory on the stock motor and make sure it runs
before I have the motor rebuilt, with the new cam and higher compression?
