Does anyone have access to a reference to set of step-by-step directions for
the replacement of the rear hub bearings, hubs and axels for a 1972 GT6? I
need guidance to make sure that the bearings are seated with the proper end
float.

There is still noise and vibration that
appears to be coming from BOTH (!) rear hubs on the GT6+. Darn.
Any tricks of the trade, shortcuts or other tips for replacing the
bearings?

OK, it only makes a noise without power. I think it is play in the
diff. I tried up in the air and only when I turn the wheel by hand and
do it back and forth does if make any noise. I suspect it sort of echoes
down the drive shaft. Not sure exactly what is the root cause. I suspect
wear some
Usually it's more like a whine than a clunk. The whine changes
in pitch with speed change. It will diminish when you apply the
brakes as the brake shoes will take some of the load off the
bearing. You will also notice that the hub gets very hot.

Folks I suspect that the passenger side rear hub bearing is going.
I have a clunking that sound like it's from the wheel. Speed dependent.
I replaced the UJ's when I fixed the diff seal a month or so ago.
I plan to put the car up on stands and run it to listen and/or coast the car with my
wife
