Yes, solar conditions can take effect within minutes. This is very
noticeable during ham radio contests. I was operating in the 20-meter
amateur band in a contest once and the band was open, full of signals.

on a transmission on a frequency of 13435 kHz @ 07 UT on 01/04/2014. Alas, I

Yeah... the use of the word emergency - even if followed by a (?) - in
relation to a numbers station will always spark curiosity and surge adrenaline.
That's why I asked if it was live (as in human) or Memorex
