This relatively new hospital privacy curtain criteria seems to be flawed to me.
The patient privacy curtain criteria changed in the 2007 edition compared to
the 2002 Edition. In 2002, the 70% open mesh curtain was to be 18 inches down
from the sprinkler deflector. In the 2007 Edition, the 70%
I think it's because when CPVC shot to the competitive pipe of choice in a
high and mid-rise residential work the manufacturers still hadn't re-tooled
from the old days of 13D/R full size fittings and bushings and simply didn't
have all the reducing fittings available. They are these days. I stil
