I-BEAM Bottom Flange Obstruction

Scenario: multi level mezzanine, W12 x 19, 4'-6 o.c., bottom flange at 9'-0, top of storage 8'-0. To get the 18" clearance, need to be 6" above the bottom flange centered in the 4'-6 dimension. There will be a line of sprinklers in each 4'-6 I-beam pocket. Do I need to be concern with the 4" wid
