The two cup link was a Grinnell Solder type sprinkler. Commonly referred to as Duraspeed. I only have a older reference book. 1/2", 1/4", 3/8" & 7/16 sold as Model F950. The book I have shows a 3/4"x 17/32" head with the same type link as a Issue C solder type with a K Factor of 8.0 The model F

What determines the choice of an ELO head? The sprinkler heads in the paint booth are 3/4” thread. The height of the heads is 18 to 20’ above the floor. The blast booth next door has 1/2” thread, same height above the floor. Is the height a consideration? At what height do we normally see
