We have a two story strip mall with a Bank at one end. The Bank is currently
sprinklered, monitored and alarmed for water flow. The adjacent site (
Building?, location?, tenant?) is currently being sprinklered by others from
the same riser. Does this ( Building?, location?, tenant?) Require its own
alarm system? Additional Monitoring? I've seen this similar configuration
everywhere yet I've never seen a reference to the situation in the building
codes. Does this qualify under IBC as a Mall, If so, nobody seems to treat it
as a real mall. I just dunno! Any ideas?
