Hi,
I am wondering whether it is possible to debug a cell (rather than the
entire program) in Spyder.
We could do something like this:
load the %autoreload module of ipython
Add 'pdb.set_trace()' where we want to start to debug
Press ctrl-enter to run the cell

Hi,
Are there any plans to add an instance inspector to the object inspector in
Spyder?
For me, it is a big limitation not being able to inspect an instance's
variables.
Also - making 'F9' work while debugging will be significant...
Thanks,
David

Hi,
Is it possible in spyder to debug a cell?
I.e., as there's an option to run a single cell (ctrl-enter) I was
wondering whether there's an option to debug a single cell.

Hi,
Even though I've installed pyside inside my virtualenv (pip install
pyside), I can't launch spyder (downloaded from the git repository) - I
keep getting:
PtQt4 or Pyside is required.
Any reason for that?
Thanks,

I am using spyder 2.3.4.
Is there a way to keep the variables in memory when a script crashes?
That way I will be able to more easily inspect what went wrong, and
continue typing commands w/o needing to start all over again.
Thanks,
David

Hi,
Is there a way to configure Spyder NOT to jump to the first line when
starting to debug?
It drives me crazy...
Thanks,
David
