In xRename, if I set zErrMsg and return SQLITE_ERROR, the error message
gets through.
In xDestroy, using the same code, the error message seems to get eaten.
Bug?
My code:

{

if (pvtab->zErrMsg) sqlite3_free(pvtab->zErrMsg);
pvtab->zErrMsg = sqlite3_mprintf("whatever");

}
