We are integrating SQLite into our software and I would like to understand what the impact of enabling SQLITE_DISABLE_DIRSYNC is, in particular when running on ext3 and ext4 filesystems (with journal=ordered mode). I searched the mail archives and could not find a response, the doc is also a bit short. For info, the Fedora RPM for sqlite has this enabled. Any explanation appreciated.
