Quick update on this, I have opted to tag versions in git directly.
Please, find the packaged versions of sqlmap under
https://github.com/sqlmapproject/sqlmap/tags now. We will keep on
tagging new versions in the same way.

I's a good news that sqlmap finally got the new homepage and github
repo. The only thing that I feel inconvenient for packagers - is a lack
of pregenerated tarballs. Some package repositories (like FreeBSD port's
collection) depend on checksums of downloaded tarballs, so to
