You could use something like perlbrew and break the link between Perl
for LMS and the system's Perl.

Recently using this app to switch remotely between MySB.com and LMS 7.9x
does not work (but does in the other dirction).
Switching via hardware (Touch or Boom) works fine.
Has anything changed on LMS side which could account for this ?
