Yep, Windows 10.
Made a little progress- the uninstall panel sat there for about 25
minutes, then seemed to uninstall LMS. Never seen one take that long.
I seem to remember that during the install, LMS tried to connect to
Squeezebox server for about that long before it moved on.

We had a temporary issue in the US datacenter of mysb.com over the
weekend. This issue should be resolved by now.

Posting here in the hope that this is a peculiarity of LMS, and maybe
there's an easy fix.
Long story short: I bought a couple of the ultra cheap downloads from
Amazon, some early Alfred Brendel on the Vox label and the Colorado
Quartet's complete Beethoven string quartets.
