and everything's now working as it should.
Thanks for the pointers, bpa!

Just a thought here... You can use any controller to control any player.
For instance if you have a Pie player hooked up to the stereo you can
control it from a web browser on a PC or an app on your phone like
Orange Squeeze. For some reason I'm getting the impression you think you
must use a
I just saved a playlist without giving it a name ("Untitled") and I was
asked if I wanted to overwrite the existing one. But there was no
existing one.
It really doesn't matter, but as it seems to be a bug, there you go. :p

Can't enable - it is an option at build time to include code and link
with a libOGG library.

I don't have builds on hand. A build for your system - has to

beginning with "-" properly, even though file names starting with "-"
are pretty unusual.
(A few days ago I was puzzled myself about it, so checked the flac
documentation.)

Yes the executables in the Bin directory can be changed (e.g. copy from
an old verison fo LMS) but make sure ownership & permissions are exactly
the same.
Also don't delete "original" just rename so that you can
While testing out the fix I noticed in the convert.conf file that the
flac line had an spare "--" between $END$ and $FILE" in the command

Transcoding seems to work OK if it is deleted - is it valid/required or
an error (e.g. an option badly deleted).
The floating "--" seems to be in
