WAY AHEAD OF
I have an original SlimP3 in my basement, and finally got around to
running an ethernet cable to it. So it boots, it gets an IP address, but
then it seems to get stuck at trying to "Looking for Slim Server..."
I am running LMS 7.9.2 on pCP 5.0.0.
Does anything have to be adjusted in LMS setting

What is the status of this?
As far as I can tell:
a) This problem still exists in the latest 8.0
b) It only occurs when automatic plugin updates are enabled
c) It is an LMS bug that affects all skins, not just Material
