Yes I did mention earlier on where my Audio Files are, they are on a
external USB drive and it was plugged in when the two panes showed on
the desk top.
It is one of two external drives that I use on my Windows 7 machine th

Still you will need to update LMS to at least version 8.1.1 to be able
to use TIDAL without problems.
Are you running LMS on piCoreplayer on on another computer in your local
network?

Well, it is on my "might do one day" list (I also have Intel based

Which OS are you using on your Pi?
And which LMS version? I mean: you installed LMS some way. Just do the
same again with a recent version of LMS.

I have the albumartist Tag with Various Artists. Is this what you mean,
or do you mean the Artist Tag. This should not be.
The role doesn't really matter from LMS' point of view. They're all in
the same contributor table. Thus the albumartist "VA" would trigger the
warning, too.

No, I don't see that.

Not sure if it is your old version, but it IS very old.
I would try pinkdot's Synology build:
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111876
You might need to block your NAS to update to the future DSM v7 to keep
this working, but that goes for your old LMS776 too.
That is also my tactic

No. I should probably still look into it at some point... most likely
you have a track with the artist "Various Artists" (or whatever your
language version). This artist is special in LMS and can cause the above.

I've tried many different things such as:

playlist play Radio 1 95.7 (Gesproken)
The missing piece might be the requirement to URL encode the file path.
Eg. the space would become %20. You can use an online tool like

One of the issues about streaming Flac is unlike MP3 there is no common
Flac standard - I think main ones are upnp and ogg/f
Does your old device support anything else ... such as UPnP ?
If yes - then you could try with Philippe's UPnP Bridge which then gives
you more options on audio types.

Hello,
is there a way to stream it in FLAC, like:

I know, that does not work, but is there a way to achieve this?
I am aware of the MP3 stream

But I still have an old HIFIDELIO and I woul prefer to feed this player
with flac or PCM and not

Where are you looking?
If this computer has a graphical interface, and a browser, try entering
this URL in the browser:
Code:

What I can categorically say is there is nothing that comes close to a

It's a shame that Logitech gave up on something that was way ahead of
