You'll have to go to the preferences and grant perl and perl5.18 full

I tried ip, dhcp upper and lower case, and parts of the IP address.
Nothing related to the pi's IP:

What does it say in dmesg regarding IP address?

That was fast and accurate!
Thanks a lot!

PS: Just curious: What could have caused this?
Maybe my DHCP server answered too slow (after LMS had already started)
on the last reboot?
But doesn't the raspberrypi wait for an IP-address until it continues
the boot process?
Thank you bpa for the context, I appreciate it!
I'll revert back to the UTF-8 version.

169.254.x.y is the special address range used when DHCP is expected (not
static assignment) and it was unable to get an IP address.
Try restarting LMS now that you do have a DHCP allocated address.

Hi,
I have LMS .deb running on a raspi, connected are a Boom and a Classic

Okay, I was talking to Deezer support for two hours today, and it turns

Good to know. Could it be that I am only on a 1 month free hifi trial
upgrading from premium? Could their api still be registering me as
premium and not hifi?
I wouldn't be surprised, but I don't know.

There are multiple ways of encoding "Pi" symbol. See

There is something else you're using/doiung

This has something to do with the rights on you're files. This mostly
happens if you uses ACL, then you need to install the ACL pluggin.
Otherwise the file must have 0755 read/write rights.
If you search the forum, you will find several thread about this.

It certainly should play FLAC, no matter what the platform. 8.1.1 is the

Yes of course... the culprit is in one of my favorited radio stations,

It does indeed have Alexa built in.
I received notification of it being posted on Saturday so should have it
