In Library/Preferences I see no Squeezebox folder, only a
com.slimdevices.slim.plist file. > PreferencePanes is empty, nothing there.
Did you check both /Library, as well as ~/Library?
In Caches there is a Squeezebox folder with three rar folders, Spotty,
templates, ITunes Artwork etc.

I've run into a new problem here. After installing 8.2 I believe it
worked for a few days, but now it will not. What happens is that for any
song (local mp3 or spotty) it will start at 14 seconds. It appears as it
would be playing but not sound. After a few seconds it goes back to 14
seconds
I saw another thread about this, cant find it again of course, there it
said to go to Terminal and write "find Logitech Media Server" I think,
it came up with two entries which look a lot like the one mherger
mentions.
Going to Applications there is nothing there though.

Remember that the personal library is invisible by default. You need to
press the Option key while in the Go menu of Finder

This is a nightmare, I cannot find ANY files with LMS on it, its not
mentioned in the Applications either!
It's in Preferences: /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane. The
other copy potentially could be in your personal Library folder,
something like /Users/yourname/Library/PreferencePa
